Regarded as one of the greatest folkloric dance ensembles in the world, the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble returns to wow Houston audiences this fall. Celebrate the rich history and culture of Eastern Europe as the 90-member Ensemble performs choreography based on authentic folk dances, some dating back hundreds of years. Accompanying the dancers live on stage, the Folk Orchestra and the Gypsy Orchestra perform the extraordinary folk music that inspired Liszt, Bartok and Kodaly on authentic Hungarian instruments.
